Electronic Repair

Of all the good reasons to use PSI for your electronic repair, perhaps none is more important than our extensive array of test and diagnostic tools. When you elect to have us repair your electronic components, they are given a thorough evaluation, and are expertly diagnosed for problems with advanced test equipment and proprietary software techniques. Your electronic components are then repaired by our trained, conscientious electronics technicians, who have been certified in ESD and IPC soldering practices.

At PSI, we have continously invested in new systems and equipment - and developed proprietary software techniques to ensure our repairs perform. Not only do we have millions of dollars in custom system test fixtures, but our Diagnosys PinPoint Systems are the latest universal In-Circuit Test equipment available. When coupled with proprietary serial testing techniques and surface-mount handling equipment, PSI can repair even the most advanced Microprocessor or Digital Signal Processor circuits. In fact, our customers often ask us to improve failure-prone products through the use of better parts or full circuit redesign. We also design and manufacture replacement parts for obsolete items.

The next step in the electronic repair process is what separates us from all other competitors. After the repair is completed, your component is installed into a system that's identical to the one from which it came, then system tested. At PSI, we have invested several million dollars in purchasing the same systems that operate in your plant. This means that if you send us an Allen Bradley programmable controller board, it is repaired and then tested in an Allen Bradley controller. The same is true for Modicon components, Square D, Fanuc, Kuka, Reliance, Siemens, GE and dozens of other brand name electronic board manufacturers. System testing is the only way to guarantee repair integrity, and that's why our facilities look a lot like yours - complete with all the systems you use in your plant.
