Robot repairs require the expertise of virtually all PSI service areas. Robots may be comprised of combinations of any or all of the following: mechanical assemblies, hydraulics, electrical components, ballscrews, servo motors, encoders, wiring harnesses, and circuit boards. After being received in the main shop area, robots are inspected and disassembled. The various parts and assemblies are then sent to their respective service areas, where they are individually repaired and tested.
The main shop schedules completion and return of the various assemblies to meet a specific order for logical and timely reassembly. Robots are then system-tested in our robotics test area.
Whether we service a complete robotic unit or just a subassembly, you can be confident that the most professional and knowledgeable team of experts will be working on your unit.
