An integral part of our hydraulic repair service is the special care and knowledge we bring to servo valve repair. We understand the key role servo valves play in your hydraulic systems, so we’ve developed the most complete repair and testing facility in the world.
To properly evaluate and to accurately quote a repair price, we test servo valves on run-in test stands, and analyze samples of the actual fluids you run in your equipment. This allows us to check performance to existing specifications and to accurately duplicate the malfunction you experienced. When contamination affects valve performance, our vacuum filtering tester provides you with a test patch to help you eliminate the source of contamination.
Prior to repair, all parts are ultrasonically cleaned in a heated vapor degreaser. Internal parts are microscopically inspected and all tolerances are verified. Our technicians then replace all broken, worn and missing parts, reassembling the units using new Viton seals or those specified by the valve manufacturer.
Repaired servo valves are then tested on dedicated valve test stands capable of both low- and high-flow testing and pressures to 3,000 psi. Our clean room is equipped to calibrate and test all servo valves to meet or exceed OEM specifications.
Because of our stringent repair and testing procedures we have achieved six-sigma quality on our servo valve repairs. Six-sigma means that our warranty rate is just 3 parts per million.
